Overview
Video Uploader is an ActiveX component that allows web site users to preview, edit and upload multiple video files to the web server.
The media files, being converted into the WMV format, will be available for streaming from the web server either with Windows Media Services or with Silverlight.
The Video Uploader is a joint initiative of MediaLooks and Aurigma, the industry leader in image upload technology.
Features
- Any files that can be played back with Windows Media Player are supported on input.
- Support for Quicktime files on input (QuickTime Player & QuickTime Source required).
- Generate thumbnails and upload them together with the video.
- Various compression options for video (size of video, FPS, bitrate) and audio (stereo/mono, bitrate).

- Support for Firefox & Opera.
- Cropping of media files.
- Overlay text & images over the video (with Text & Graphics Overlay).
- Special handling of rendering errors.
Server-Side Requirements
- Windows Server with Windows Media Services.
