An overview of the MediaLooks Multimedia Component Architecture.

Overview

Basically, MediaLooks Multimedia Components are a way of bridging the gap between DirectShow and a number of development environments, such as .NET, Visual Basic 6, Delphi and C++Builder.

Every component is in fact a wrapper over a DirectShow filter graph and is equipped with a number of interfaces for exchanging data with other components. A special interface is provided that allows to use MediaLooks' or third-party DirectShow filters as plugins.

Supported Development Environments

  • Visual C++
  • .NET (C#, Visual Basic)
  • VB6
  • Delphi
  • C++Builder

No DirectShow expertise required!
